Air Berlin

Air Berlin is the second largest airline in Germany second only to Lufthansa. It is also classified as the seventh largest airline in Europe based upon the total number of passengers it carries per year. Air Berlin flies to cities around the world on all of the major continents. It also flies to the most cities in Germany compared to any other airline which has helped to set it apart from its competition. Air Berlin began flying in 1979 and has continued to grow ever since with flying over 30 million passengers in 2013 alone. It is also part of the Oneworld airline alliance.

What advantages does Air Berlin have?
As previously mentioned one of Air Berlin's biggest advantages is the large number of cities it services in Germany. This has helped to attract a lot of business in Germany as well as the rest of Europe. Air Berlin provides both a business class and economy class for seating. The business class is equipped with leather cushioned seating as well as personal monitors on which to watch movies or television programs. Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary to all passengers on every single flight as well as snacks. On longer flights there is also a complimentary meal provided.

Why should you fly with them?
One of the main reason for flying with Air Berlin is the large variety of locations they travel to. This allows you to get to the location you want with more ease than other German airlines that may not fly to as many cities as Air Berlin. Another reason to fly with Air Berlin is the customer loyalty program they offer. When you join this program you can earn rewards such as free miles to be used on future flights. These miles can also be carried over to airlines partnered with Air Berlin or even used to book rooms at affiliated hotels.
